Integration with Tools

There is a range of beneficial tools for the SAP Solution Manager and below please find a list of tools we have been using and implementing to the best benefit of our customers :

ARIS

When implementing the SAP solution, the reference content provided by SAP can be used for process definition in ARIS for SAP NetWeaver. Based on the business process scenarios defined there, it is then possible to transfer configuration-relevant requirements to SAP Solution Manager. Key to successful completion of this type of project is that all the deployed tools and procedures complement each other properly.

HP Quality Center (HP QC)

To speed up testing and improve software quality, you can transfer business blueprints and test assets from the SAP® Solution Manager application management solution to the SAP Quality Center application by HP. You can then test in SAP Quality Center, display the results in SAP Solution Manager, and synchronize your quality center defects with service desk tickets.

BPM Exchange

BPM-Xchange® offers a set of products to establish continuous business process management in large organizations and enterprises. By our process exchange middleware, we provide real universal process transformations for seamless BPM tools and standards integration. This middleware is positioned as a backend for information management. As a frontend for BPM users, we offer method compliant modeling support and process publishing products which close the gap between complex BPM tools used by BPM Specialists and lightweight BPM tools for Business Users and Process Owners.

RBE+

An RBE+ analysis is extremely useful when :
  • The SAP environment has been operational for a couple of years in order to detect inefficiencies and potential areas of improvement
  • An upgrade is being planned in order to evaluate usefulness of new functionality, clean-up customizing, master data and custom developments in order to reduce the time and effort required for the upgrade , re-document the existing actual situation and - optionally - inject it into SAP Solution Manager to start taking benefit of this tool
  • One has indications that the ways of working as conceived are not (always) applied in reality; but due to time-, resource- or other constraints, one does not succeed to analyse the incidents in detail
  •  One wants to re-document the current, real situation and eventually inject this “process inventory” into SAP Solution Manager, which is becoming mandatory anyway and which offers some interesting and powerful functionalities.
  • One wants to start and build a process repository in the context of ESA / SOA orientation.
